Hello, Sir.
This is the first time I write something to Japanese guy. I want to write to you in my mother tongue, Korean. But as you know, English is a global language. We, Korean, publishes and reads many news about Japan. Sometimes, we critic for an issue and sometimes, we celebrate for something else. I’ve read a lot of news about Yasukuni shrine; actually not a lot, but a few. But this article -http://news.nate.com/view/20110413n13589?mid=n0507 - was such a shock. I am sorry for that I’ve been hated all of Japanese with no exception since I was teenage. Even though I noticed that all the Japanese are not bad, but I’ve tried to ignore myself for. I do apologise that I’ve been hated all of Japanese and promise you that I try to correct something wrong between Korea and Japan relationship. I really do hope so. So, I want you to tell me something that We, Korean, misunderstand about Japan. Cause I don’t have a lot of knowledge about us due to I’ve just hated Japan. Sorry for that again.
Sorry to say this again, but your story in this news shocked me and made me to be moved. I’m gonna spread your story and let them know that what was wrong and what was right. Thank you for notice me that every Japanese aren’t bad and somebody like you tries to correct something wrong in our long history.
I feel sorry that what happened in your country. Wish you to get over this hard time soon and build up your country again. I do wish for you guys.
Thank you, Sir.

그리고 오늘 온 답장!!
Dear Mr(Ms?) Gwak Donghwa
How do you do?
Last year, I supported Mr Hasegawa's field work about war heritage in Tokyo
So he shared your mail with me
First of all, thank you very much for letting us know that our tiny activity is known in S.Korea
Though I'm quite recent member about that, Mr Hasegawa has been doing this for long years
so I'm especially happy for him
Second reason I decided to send this mail to you is, I want to show my apology about what our arrogant and stupid Electric Company has done to the world especially very close country S.Korea
I know this kind of apology should have done officially by Japanese Government
But, you know, if we wait for them to say "sorry", we have to wait until the end of the world
And my feeling is somewhat different from simple "I'm sorry", but Chom-mal-lo chase-on-ham-nida
I know it is not proper spelling, but I hope you accept this
Thank you again for your warm mail and also what your country and people have done to help us at this hard time
If it were not for this radio active thing, I do hope to guide you through Tokyo
Hopefully, some years later
Sincerly yours
(Ms)Miyazawa Reiko
